Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez wants to build his team around Gareth Bale next season and will introduce a 4-2-3-1 formation to allow him to thrive in his favoured left wing position, according to AS.
The Madrid-based daily said the new manager was hugely impressed by Bale’s display for Wales on Friday night in Cardiff and is convinced the 25-year-old should be played in his favoured role to revive his Santiago Bernabeu career.
Bale suffered a tough second season in Spain and was roundly criticised by fans and the media alike for some under par performances. But playing for his national team on Friday, he gave everyone a reminder of what he can do by netting the winner over Belgium, sending Wales to the brink of qualification for next summer’s European Championships.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Bale said he and his team mates were pleased with the result but know there is still a long way to go.
“We know what position we’re in but we’re going to enjoy this evening. We know there is still a long way to go,” he told Sky Sports.
“For us, we can enjoy now but when the next camp comes around we’ll be straight back on the floor, working hard back on the training field and ready to do the business.:
we are optimistic that Bale will flourish next season if he is to play in his preferred position.
Hala Madrid and best luck Rafa.
i dont think building the team around bale is a good idea, cause he cant take pressure.building the team around him can also be an advantage to ronaldo.he will av enuogh space cause all eye will be on bale.thereby making him more deadly and dangerouse to deal with.defenders wont see him coming.ronaldo will then be like a ghost on the pitch.
Rafa try to bring Sterling or Hazard not costa we need some 1 who knows to put pressure to the opponent defense
we need a striker in Madrid
plix Rafa try to bring in Sterling or Hazard then our team can also treble the trophies this season
Good idea with Bale!!!! He has a lot of talent and many years to play stil…
Sterling and Hazard is a waste of money, you want pressure and goals!!
Then go with Bale and Cr7 sell Benzema and get a player like Aguero… Taking Casemiro back is a good idea! We dont need players like Isco or Jese, they rather look good and lose a game Then to win with bad hair! Rafa with your reputation and the way madristas they can hate there own you need to do what you do best! Go with your own mind!
Hala Madrid One Love….
