Zinedine Zidane has all the squad fit to face Deportivo de la Coruña in the last game in La Liga. The only player ruled out is Lucas Vázquez, who suffered a knee sprained and it’s expected to rest at Riazor despite it’s an special game for him.
Lucas Vázquez was born in a little town close to La Coruña but he should be patient and rest thinking in the Champions League final. The youngster has travelled with all the squad to La Coruña just in case the madridistas can celebrate La Liga title.
Zidane only has this minor problem because all the other players look fit to start at Riazor. The coach might give some rest to Gareth Bale, who had some problems in the past and might not want to risk the Milan final.
Keylor Navas is expected to return to the goal and Pepe, Carvajal and Modric are ready to start. Zidane could lineup a similar team that will face Atlético in San Siro.
Víctor Sánchez del Amo, Deportivo’s coach, has more problems. Despite the team escaped from the relegation positions, there is a really bad atmosphere at La Coruña. Real Madrid main’s concern is Lucas Pérez who has scored 17 goals in La Liga this season.
In the head-to-head, Real Madrid won the last three games at Riazor (2-8, 0-4 and 1-2) but it’s been a tough stadium in Los Blancos history. Zidane’s first game on Real Madrid’s bench was against Deportivo with a 5-0 victory.
