Many Real Madrid players are currently playing qualifying games with their national teams for the 2018 World Cup of Russia. Actually, there are sixteen players who have been called by the national teams. Toni Kroos, Marco Asensio, Luka Modric, Mateo Kavacic, Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal, Isco Alarcón, Morata, Nacho, James, Keylor and Bale have already played the fist game with with their national teams and this is the performance of the players managed by Zinedine Zidane.
Toni Kroos: Before facing Azerbaijan in the official game for the World Cup of Russia, Germany played a friendly match against England, where Löw’s team won 1-0 with a goal of Podolski (in his last game with Germany’s shirt). The Real Madrid midfielder played the full 90 minutes being a very important player in Germany’s midfield.
Marco Asensio: The Majorcan playmaker started form the beginning in the friendly match Spain Under-21 played against Denmark. Asensio played all the game and he was a key player in Spain’s victory because he gave an assistance to Merino in the first goal of the match. On Monday they will play against Italiy in a game between two teams that have qualified for the Euro of Poland in June.
Marcelo and Casemiro:Both Real Madrid players played the full 90 minutes in Brazil’s victory against Uruguay. Brazil are in the top of the of the CONMEBOL qualifying group for 2018 World Cup. On Wednesday Casemiro and Marcelo will face Paraguay at Sao Paulo.
Gareth Bale: Wales couldn’t achieve a victory in their match against Ireland (0-0). Gareth Bale played the full 90 minutes in the fifth match for the World Cup qualifier.
Modric and Kovacic: Luka Modric was included in the line up in Croatia’s victory against Ukraine (1-0), that place them in the first position of their group. Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic entered on the pitch in the last 10 minutes replacing Ivan Rakitic.
Isco, Morata, Nacho, Sergio Ramos and Carvajal: Isco, who entered in the last 20 minutes of the game, scored a brilliant goal in Spain’s victory against Israel (4-1). Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal played the full 90 minutes, while Morata and Nacho must wait for their opportunity in the friendly game Spain will play against France on Tuesday.
Keylor Navas: The Costa Rican goalkeeper didn’t play a good match in Costa Rica’s defeat against Mexico (2-0). Real Madrid player made a big mistake in Mexico’s first goal, similar as the one he made in the regular season game against Betis. Costa Rica will play their second match of the week on Tuesday against Honduras.
