Zizou also demanded the Golden Ball for Cristiano Ronaldo: “I see it that way. The credit is his. He’s close to the next one, yes”. The manager also confirmed that the Portuguese will rest again: “I speak a lot with Cristiano and he knows himself a lot. He knows that until now, he’s played 60-70 games so he needs to rest a bit. Zidane also confirmed that Pepe won’t join the group yet: “Fabio is going to be with us. Pepe is fine and he’ll be with us the next week. Varane had some problems and we don’t want to risk”.
