Another good performance of Álvaro Morata

Álvaro Morata played a really good match yesterday at Los Carmenes and with the pass of the games his importance in the club is growing. The Spanish striker scored two goals and he opened once again the debate of who must play, Benzema or him. Morata has played less minutes than the French player and he accumulates more goals, showing that he can be an important player in the squad.

After the game at Granada Morata did an interview and he spoke about the minutes he is playing:”I would like to play more minutes, like every player. I always want to play and score, but we have a complete complete squad with very good players. I play less minutes than I expected because I want to play everything. When the coach needs me, I’m ready”, Morata said.

The Spanish striker is playing really good when Zidane decides to introduce him in the line up and now there is a debate of who must play in the important games, Benzema o him: “I’m not frustrated, I think that the people are the ones who open the debate. I don’t think if I have scored more goals than a teammate. I only think on keep working hard and to score the maximum goals as possible with the aim of helping my team. I already scored 20 goals, which is a good amount, but I want more”, Morata affirmed.

In the next weeks we will see if Morata must play more minutes or no. Now he should only worry about keep scoring goals and once he achieves him aim, we’ll see if Real Madrid give him the opportunity to show his great quality. Los Blancos must decide whether to reject one of his best scorers or if they give the opportunity to a former player who is a supporter of this club.
