Real Madrid and Barcelona eyed the next Brazilian star some months ago, but Los Blancos have overtaken the Blaugranas to sign him. According to the information given by Globoesporte, Vinicius Junior has chosen Real Madrid and Florentino Pérez is willing to pay a really high transfer fee for a player who is only 16 years old.
Vinicius Junior has still to make his debut with Flamengo because he’s only 16 years old. However the Brazilian player is highlighting with the youngster teams and he shown in the South American U-17 tournament, where he was named best player and he was the topscorer.
According to the some sources, Real Madrid are willing to pay up to €40M for the Brazilian player. The idea is bringing him to Spain in the summer of 2018, when he will be 18 years old, so it would be legal to sign him. However, Los Blancos are working already to tie up this signing and they’ve invited his family to the Spanish capital and they saw Valdebebas and Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
Vinicius Junior will sign his first professional contract with Flamengo in July. It will be a 3-years deal with the Brazilian club when he turns 17, although one year later he is supposed to go to Europe.
