Gareth Bale is always surrounded by rumours about his return to the Premier League. Manchester United and Manchester City would like to sign the Welshman, but he has no intention to move from Madrid.
Sky Sports said that Gareth Bale doesn’t want to leave Spain because he’s very happy in the country. Even if Bale doesn’t speak the language and some supporters don’t understand why he’s always injured, the Welshman is happy in the Spanish capital, where he can enjoy also one of his great hobbies: golf.
Bale just finished a difficult season because he spent most of the days in the nursery room. The attacker even missed the Champions League final -he only played the last minutes- after suffering another injury in El Clásico, at Santiago Bernabéu. His importance in the team has dropped, whereas other players like Isco or Marco Asensio stepped up.
For these reasons, some of the supporters were wondering if it would be a good idea selling Bale during the summer. This possibility looks quite unlikely because Real Madrid bosses are not willing to let him go and the player is happy in Spain. Besides, when he’s fit, Bale has played some remarkable games, scoring important goals in La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey.
If Bale remains, the BBC will be the attacking line again in the next season. Cristiano Ronaldo looks calmer after his anger for the prosecution for tax fraud, although Real Madrid are still on edge waiting for a public declaration. On top of that, Karim Benzema is one Zidane’s favourite players, so he won’t leave during the summer.
Taking this in consideration, Mbappé’s arrival looks very unlikely. One of the BBC players would need to arrive for the French player to arrive, otherwise he would have less minutes at Real Madrid and Zidane would have a squad very difficult to manage.
