UEFA organized his week their Coaches Forum in Nyon (Switzerland) with the best managers of the continent. Zinedine Zidane was the star in the meeting after winning two Champions League in a row, a milestone in the history of the competition. The French coach couldn’t direct the training session of Real Madrid because he travelled to Switzerland to attend his forum.
Zinedine Zidane shared the table with José Mourinho, Rafa Benítez, Massimiliano Allegri, Rui Vitoria, Ernesto Valverde, Bruno Genesio, Sergio Conçeiçao or Maurizio Sarri. The French coach is now the fourth with more titles in the meeting, after Mourinho, Benítez or Allegri, all with much more experience than Real Madrid coach.
UEFA summoned all these coaches to let them know the news for the Champions League that is about to start. Besides, the managers can share information and learn about new tactics or training methods. The European organization is planning this meeting in the first international break of the season, just before the start of the Champions League.
Zinedine Zidane attended for the first time this meeting last year. He was a rookie then, but one year later, he’s the most successful coach in the forum, having won two Champions League in a row. The French manager always says that he has a lot to learn yet, so this Forum is the perfect situation to take advantage of the knowledge of great coaches like Mourinho or Benítez, both former Real Madrid managers.

Zizou can be calm and attend his meeting in the deadline day because Los Blancos won’t sign any player at the end of the summer transfer window. The squad is closed and no player will leave or arrive to Madrid in the last day of the market. In the meantime, Zidane can share and learn from his colleagues in this important meeting. Zidane shared a photo with Massimiliano Allegri -his rival in the Champions League final-, José Mourinho -they met in the European Supercup-, and Ernesto Valverde -he was beaten in the Spanish Supercup-.
