Tottenham Hotspurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has reiterated his desire to keep hold of star winger Gareth Bale.
The Welshman has been strongly link with a move to Real Madrid this summer with a number of Los Blancos players discussing publically how he would be a good addition to the squad.
Club ambassador Zinedine Zidane has also made many comments about Bale, who scored 26 goals for Spurs last season, as the finished with their highest ever points tally in the Premier League and qualified for the Europa League.
Reports have suggested Los Blancos want to tie up an 85 million euro deal for the winger before pre-season training begins in July, along with the signing of Malaga’s playmaker Isco.
But Marca quoted a bullish Villas-Boas as saying: “We have the pledge of the chairman that Bale is not going to leave the club.”
