Carlo Ancelotti has implied that he would be willing to return to former team AC Milan.
The 54-year-old Italian has guided the Rossoneri at San Siro between 2001 and 2009 winning two Champions Leagues in 2003 and 2007 and one Serie A title in 2004.
The Italian manager has coached Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and now Los Merengues, but expressed that he wouldn’t mind rejoining his ex-team.
“A return to Milan? Why not?” Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia. “I’d always say yes to Milan.”
Ancelotti went on to dismiss the idea that he would lead the Azzurri in the future since he would miss working with players on a regular basis.
“You never know what will happen, but right now I like coaching on a daily basis,” Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.
Ancelotti also praised Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella for his style of play and personality.
“There are a lot of good coaches around right now, but personally speaking I do like Vincenzo Montella,” he enthused. “I like how his Fiorentina side play and I like how he deals with the media.”
Ancelotti discarded rumors that Xabi Alonso would leave Los Merengues despite interest from Juventus. “No, he’s happy with us and is too important for Real Madrid,” he said
