The defender’s loyalty has been brought into question over the years as the media have reported his open conflict with either team mates or the coaches.
Ramos’ relationship with Carlo Ancelotti has become strained following his dismissal against Galatasaray in the week but the Italian is intent on keeping his vice-captain.
Manchester City are keen on improving their defensive options by signing Ramos, but the hefty fee may be enough to dissuade the Citizens from making an offer.
