Juventus forward Alvaro Morata has admitted a return to Real Madrid this summer is not out of the question but does depend on a lot of things.

The 22-year-old left Los Blancos last summer in a 14 million euro move to the Turin side. He has enjoyed a spectacular first season in Italy, winning Seria A and getting his name on the scoresheet in the Champions League final against Barcelona – a game Juve eventually lost 3-1.

Such has been the form of the Juve man that talk has suggested his former employers may be back in for him in the summer as they insisted on a buy back clause when he left.

Speaking to Cadena Ser, Morata said a move back to the Spanish capital would be complicated. He also added he is happy with life in Italy.

“Nobody has spoken to me about going back. It is something that would have to depend on many people,” he said.

And he added: “That said, I have to think about how my year went here [at Juventus]. And I am very happy to be playing here.”

New Real boss Rafa Benitez is believed to be working on rejigging his forward line with Cristiano Ronaldo taking on a more central role. With the departure of Javier Hernandez, Los Blancos will be on the lookout for a striker in the close season.
