Cristiano Ronaldo received from Florentino Pérez a t-shirt commemorating the great milestone achieved against Atlético Madrid. He has scored 400 goals for Real Madrid, the last 10 of them in the Champions League quarter-finals and semi-finals.
“This is something very especial. These are a lot of goals, I didn’t expect it. This is thank to the effort of the whole team, my effort and everybody else who works in the club and the fans, who always support us. It’s an extra motivation playing with this t-shirt. I feel happy and I want to give the best of me in these years”, Cristiano Ronaldo said.

The Portuguese also spoke about the great first leg against Atlético: “I see a fantastic team. Yesterday it was another proof that the team is fine and with confidence. Winning 3-0 is amazing and very important. The control of the game shows the freshness of our players. We’re very motivated and we want to arrive to the final of the Champions League. We have a small advantage, we’re only one step away from Cardiff. Hopefully we can achieve it”.
Cristiano Ronaldo was again the best footballer on the pitch and he showed that he’s arriving to the end of the season very fit. On the contrary to the last season, the Portuguese striker is resting a lot in La Liga, so he’s now fit to face the last crucial games. He showed it against Bayern Munich, scoring 7 goals, and against Atlético Madrid, with a hat-trick.
After these performances, there are some people who are already requesting the Golden Ball for the Portuguese player. For instance, former Real Madrid player Guti demanded the award for the striker:
