Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has said the club will only sign players who have an “insatiable hunger” for success this summer.
Los Blancos have confirmed the signings of young Spanish stars Isco and Daniel Carvajal, along with Brazilian Casemiro, so far this transfer window.
But they have been linked with an endless list of stars too, with Gareth Bale topping the wish list. Other players linked with big money moves to the Santiago Bernabeu include Luis Suarez, Asier Illarramendi and Arturo Vidal.
Speaking to reporters, Perez said: “As our coach says, Real Madrid has a duty to play spectacular football and we want new players who are up to the club’s demands and have an insatiable hunger.”
The club also confirmed that 23-year-old defender Nacho has signed a new four-year deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
