Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira has admitted he is flattered by talk of a potential move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The defender has been identified by Carlo Ancelotti as the man to replace Fabio Coentrao should the Portuguese player leave the club before the end of the transfer window, according to Madrid-based paper Marca.
Siqueira has also been linked with a move to Premier League side Everton, who have Spanish manager Roberto Martinez in charge, but admits the thought of making a move to the Santiago Bernabeu is one that has him dreaming.
Speaking to Globo Esporte he said: “I was very happy. Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world and any player would like to be in their squad.”
Siquiera then added that he had been approached by Valencia 12 months ago but was told he would not be sold. He spoke to his club’s chairman and asked that if a big club made a move this year, the club should not stand in his way of playing at the highest level.
“He said yes, that he would help me. And this is what’s going on. If the offers that are coming are good for the club and for me, I think it’s the right moment to sell me,” Siquiera stated.
First of all I would like to say terrific blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my
ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thanks!
Very soon this web page will be famous among all blog visitors, due to it’s pleasant posts
