James says goodbye to Santiago Bernabéu

James Rodríguez was included in Zidane’s line up in yesterday’s match and his performance was not very good. The Colombian play maker was substituted in the 60th minute and when he left the pitch it looked like it would be his last minutes in Santiago Bernabéu.

When James was in his way to the bench, he clapped to all the crowd, turning around himself with the arms raised, a sign that looked like a farewell to Real Madrid fans. The team managed by Zidane is not going to play more games at Santiago Bernabéu in this season because the three remaining games are at Vigo, Málaga and Cardiff, the Champions League final.

This is the third year of the Colombian at Madrid and we can say that his performance has been lower than expected, so Real Madrid may sell him with the aim of not to lose the money invested. James Rodríguez arrived to Madrid from Mónaco after being one of the best players in 2014 World Cup at Brasil. Florentino Pérez decided to sign him for an amount of €80M. His performance has ben getting worse with the pass of the years and now a days he is not in the usual Zidane starting 11. Actually, players as Isco, Asensio, Morata and Kovacic have played with more continuity than the Colombian play maker.

There are many rumors that say the James Rodríguez is going to sign with Manchester United. Actually, the Red Devils and the Colombian player have arrived to an agreement and it looks like that he will play at the Premier League next season. This agreement between James Rodríguez and Mourinho would not be surprising, considering that both share the same agent, Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese manager wants to sign another star in his squad because if finally they win the Europe League they will play Champions League next year.
