Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has made it perfectly clear he doesn’t envy Cristiano Ronaldo in the build up to today’s Champions League match-up with Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has scored 20 goals in 15 appearances so far this season but the Argentine sees no reason to be jealous of his former Manchester United team mate.
“Ronaldo is a great player, but I’ve got nothing to be envious of,” the 29-year-old attacker stated at a press conference.
The former Manchester City star then moved onto the importance of the midweek Champions League fixture and how the Old Lady cannot afford to slip up again.
“The three fixtures that remain are all finals for us. I hope Juventus-Real Madrid proves to be a good game all round,” he continued.
“We will be playing in our own stadium and the supporters will be behind us for 90 minutes.”
Juventus are third in Group B with two points from three games, with Los Blancos leading the section with nine points.
