Jose Callejon could be subject of a bid from Liverpool, Madrid sports paper Marca has said.
The paper said the 26-year-old forward is considering his future at Los Blancos, especially if new boss Carlo Ancelotti decides to bring in a high-profile forward over the summer.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers was linked with a move for the striker earlier on this month as he looks to bolster his forward line, but Italian side Napoli emerged as contenders for the player’s signature.
However, Marca said that the Seria A side, now managed by Rafa Benitez, are reluctant to pay the 10 million euros it would take to secure his signing.
Should Callejon decide to leave the Santiago Bernabeu he would join compatriot Luis Alberto who recently signed from Sevilla.
