Luis Suarez could get his wish and become a Real Madrid player this summer – but only if Los Blancos are willing to let Alvaro Morata head to Liverpool in exchange, according to the Mirror.
The Uruguayan star has made no secret of his desire to move to the Santiago Bernabeu this year having declared in interviews that it has been his dream to pull on the famous white shirt.
He has also complained about how the British press has treated him during his time in the UK and how life is now difficult for him and his family.
The paper said Suarez’s continued attempts to leave may eventually come to fruition but only if Los Blancos allow Morata to move to Anfield in a cash-plus-player deal.
The 20-year-old forward has been one of the stars of Spain’s European Under-21 Championship side with his four goals helping them to the final, where they face Italy.
Liverpool are confident a deal can be reached given that Morata has stated he would seek a move should Real Madrid buy a big name striker this summer.
