The president, Florentino Pérez, and the player will offer a press conference to announce the agreement at Santiago Bernabéu on Monday morning. This is the second time Real Madrid renew the Portuguese star after the one in 2013. Cristiano will be 36 when his contract expires, so he could be ready to retire with Los Blancos.
The numbers of the agreement are not official but the Spanish press has published that the salary will be basically the same. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently earning €18M per year and this will stay the same for the next five years.
