Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a bid to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer, according to reports from French website Le10Sport.
The France international was linked with a move to PSG a few months ago, but it seems that an offer is taking shape now.
Benzema is one of Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s favourites, and the Paris club president is personally pushing for his signing. Le10Sport has reported he would be ready to offer Los Blancos 50 million euros to bring the striker to the French capital.
However, Al-Khelaifi knows Florentino Perez has a personal preference for Benzema and will not let him go easily. Thus, he’s also set his eyes on another French forward: Antoine Griezmann. The Atletico de Madrid man is having a superb first season at the Vicente Calderon and PSG would be ready to offer his club 35 million euros should they fail to sign Benzema.
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing another Los Blancos player: Iker Casillas. The goalkeeper is set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, and PSG are expected to offer him the best deal, although he has already confessed he would like to play in the United States.
