Sergio Ramos has said Cristiano Ronaldo would have to become the first €1 billion player for him to leave Real Madrid.
There has been much speculation in recent weeks about the forward’s future in the Spanish capital, with reports linking him with a move back to former club Manchester United, or cash rich French champions Paris Saint Germain.
But defender Ramos is confident Ronaldo will still be a Real player next season.
Speaking to reporters ahead of tonight’s Copa del Rey final, he said: “You have to see which club has €1 billion to pay what he is worth. He should be in Madrid and he is happy here.”
