According The Mirror, Real Madrid is targeting the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who is now playing for France in the Euro 2016. Los Blancos want another goalkeeper to compete with Keylor Navas in the goal.
Currently, Kiko Casilla is the second goalkeeper and last year he was very unlucky because he was supposed to play Copa del Rey but Real was knocked out in the first game against Cádiz for irregularities in the line up. Therefore Casilla couldn’t play a lot and only showed his qualities in a few games in La Liga.
The English newspaper says that Real Madrid want another top-class goalkeeper to compete with Keylor Navas despite the great season the Costa Rican player did last year.
Lloris is now playing the Euro with France and he’s the goalkeeper of the national team. He’s playing tonight the quarter finals against Iceland and Germany is already waiting in the semi finals.
Lloris’ season at Tottenham Hotspur was great, perhaps the best since his arrival to North London. With Pocchettino on the bench, the Spurs fought for the Premier League title until the end of the season with Leicester City and next year they’ll play the Champions League group stages again.
According to the same source, Lloris’ price is around 35M€. Real Madrid know how hard is negotiating with Tottenham Hotspur, former club of Luka Modric or Gareth Bale. Florentino Pérez and Daniel Levy know each other very well and keep a good relationship after these deals.
After Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla good performance, it looks quite unlikely that Real Madrid want to change anything in the goalkeeper position. David de Gea looks forgotten and, perhaps, the club should focus on reinforce some other position in the pitch.
The usual Real Madrid tosh. We want someone therefore we have to have them. Lloris has made it clear that cash is not the problem for him and he is playing for a manager he admires in a team he has helped build and in the Champions League. A price of 35M euros is suggested and yet Spurs have Lloris tied to a contract that effectively carries him through to the end of his career. Of course, if RM really want him they will try all the usual unsettling tactics, but they won’t work unless you offer Levy a very big sum and at a stage that will allow Spurs to buy a replacement able to manage the Champions League – around £50 M, I’d guess. I know you spoilt brats will throw your toys out of the pram if you don’t get your way, but you’ll just have to cry all the way to the bank which lends you those dodgy amounts of EU-funded cash,
“Real Madrid must pay back £15.27-million (€18.2m – AUS$27.04m – US$20.27m) to Madrid City Council as a consequence of the illegal aid they received in a compensation deal for land that used inflated values between 1998 and 2011. Diario AS (Daily AS) have published that the European Union will make the fine official next week.”
Comment:we don’t need him,,,because we have two top quality goalkeepers in kiko casilla and Navas…we should go for verrati and one back up striker..and we must not allow varane to leave because is our future leader in defence..
