Moussa Dembele is another option for the attacking line of Real Madrid. According to the British newspapers, Los Blancos have joined the race to get the French star along with Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, PSG or Bayern Múnich.
Moussa Dembele is only 20 years old and he’s playing for Celtic Glasgow in the Scottish Premier League. This is his first season in Scotland, but he’s been able to score 13 goals in the Premier League and five more goals in the Champions League, two of them against Manchester City, one in Germany against Borussia Monchedgladbach and two more in the preview stages of the competition.
Celtic signed Dembele this summer from Fulham, in the Championship, and they paid £300.000. Now, the striker is taxed with £40M, so the business for Celtic could be perfect if they are able to seal the deal this summer.
Leading the race for the striker is Chelsea. Antonio Conte is looking for another striker in the transfer market just in case Diego Costa decides to leave. Even if the Spaniard stays, the Blues need more competitors for Costa, as they will be playing also the Champions League.
Dembele could be a good investment also for Real Madrid. Karim Benzema has been heavily criticized although he played at a great level against Napoli. Besides, Álvaro Morata is not happy with his current situation and he might go back to Italy if Zidane doesn’t give him more minutes. For this reason, another spot in the attacking line could be available in the summer and Dembele could be the one filling the space.
Dembele made his Premier League debut in the season 2013/14. He played 7 minutes against West Ham in November and he almost played the full game against Everton in March. Fulham were relegated to the Championship and Dembele had many more opportunities. In his second season, the striker found the net 15 times in 43 games. Then, Celtic were very quick and they signed the French-born striker.
