If any European team wants Morata to join their club this summer they will have to pay a really high transfer fee. According to Spanish newspaperMarca, Real Madrid want at least 75M€ for Álvaro Morata. This is the market price of the Spanish striker.
Real Madrid can be called themselves as lucky because Morata is performing a great Euro, scoring two goals in the Spanish victory against Turkey. This good performance means more money for Los Blancos, especially if they finally decide to sell Morata.
It’s very important for Morata this Euro as well. He said several times that he wants to play at Real Madrid and now all the eyes are on him. If he leads the Spanish national team into the final or the title, ‘Los Blancos’ could see Morata as the perfect replacement for Benzema, Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo and will stop looking for more players in the market.
Real Madrid will pay the 30M€ transfer fee to Juventus this year and they have to decide whether to keep the striker or sell him again to a Premier League top club. Apart from Bale, none of the other strikers are shining in this competition and Morata is showing that he could be a top player for any team.
Vicente del Bosque has also showed that Morata has all his confidence. He’s been in the lineup in the two games Spain has played until now leaving Aduriz on the bench, the Spanish topscorer this season. But Del Bosque is proved to be right. Morata is showing was he’s capable of in the national team and he might prove it as well at Real Madrid next year. If any other team wants the striker they now know they should pay at least 75M€ transfer fee, not an affordable price for most of the European clubs.
