The lastest Real Madrid transfer gossip include Los Blancos planning a 30-million-euro bid for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi becoming a target for Rafa Benitez.
Bonucci was first linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu last week, when it was revealed that Benitez would meet the centre-back’s agent. Italian newspaper Tuttosport has claimed Los Merengues are serious about Bonucci and will offer Juventus 30-million-euros.
The arrival of the 28-year-old would force Real to sell home-grown defender Nacho Fernandez, as Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Raphael Varane are Florentino Perez’s favourites.
Sport Mediaset has also reported from Italy that Los Blancos are interested in Inter Milan man Mauro Icardi. The Argentinian has had a terrific season at the Serie A and has impressed Benitez, who sees him as the perfect replacement for Chicharito Hernandez.
However, Inter are not willing to let their top scorer go easily, and his price could be an obstacle for his arrival.
Meanwhile, Spanish sports newspaper Marca has reported that Los Merengues will be beaten in the race to sign Paul Pogba, as Paris Saint-Germain are planning a 90-million-euro offer. The Frenchman is a key target for Florentino Perez, but he would not pay such a high amount for a midfielder.
