Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez has admitted he would take into consideration an offer from Real Madrid, should Los Blancos finally decide to make a bid for him.
Spanish newspaper Marca claimed a few days ago that Los Merengues were preparing an offer to bring the Switzerland international and sell Fabio Coentrao.
In an interview with Chilean newspaper El Grafico de Chile, the 22-year-old admitted “everybody wants to improve in their jobs, and should Madrid come for me, I will consider it when the moment comes.”
Rodriguez explained he is happy at Wolfsburg: “I am happy in Germany. I feel settled in the team and I am just thinking of completing a good season. We have an exciting season ahead in which we will play the Champions League, a competition that this club had not played for many years.”
The Swiss defender insisted he knows nothing of a Real Madrid offer: “I know nothing. I have had no official contacts with anyone. If a big club tries to sign me in the future, I will listen to them and decide. Obviously it is a satisfaction thinking that Real Madrid might want me, because all of us want to improve, but for now I can just say I am very happy at Wolfsburg.”
