Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is to be the subject of a new documentary, it has been revealed.
The 30-year-old striker teased his social media followers on Monday with a preview and confirmed the documentary would be released later this year.
The film, called ‘Ronaldo’, will focus on the Portugal and Real Madrid man and give a detailed insight into his life, preparations for matches and detail what makes him one of the greatest players to play football.
He tweeted: “Ronaldo’ is a powerful documentary following a year in the life of the world’s best footballer.”
The Los Blancos start joins the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Usain Bolt to have a documentary made about them. Zindane’s was a close up look at the player in action over 90 minutes, while Bolt will have a documentary made about him and his build up to the Rio Olympic Games next summer where he will look to defend the 100m and 200m titles.
Ronaldo joined Real from Manchester United in 2009 and has gone on to break all sorts of goalscoring records. The season just ended saw him hit 61 goals in all competitions. In his time at the club he has won the Champions League, La Liga, the Copa del Rey, European Supercup and World Club Cup.
