After the match Los Blancos won against Leganés in the 11th game of the regular season, Zidane spoke in press conference as he always do. Gareth Bale was the best player of all the pitch and he scored two goals that helped Los Blancos being on the top of the table just before the match against Atlético de Madrid (19th November).

Zidane highlighted the fact of not receiving any goal, the return of a key player as Luka Modric, Cristiano’s performance, the difficulty of scoring the first goal and the great distance Los Blancos have with the opposite teams of the table.

The match against Leganés was not easy and Real Madrid could not open the scoreboard until the minute 30th. Zidane talked about this: “It was a difficult match because the rival pressed us a lot and we didn’t find the way to make chances. Finally we scored the first goal and the match became to be easier for our interests. In the second half we controlled the game and we won”, Zidane explained.

Cristiano had many chances to score a goal but he didn’t have his best day of his career: “He is unique. His dream is to finish his career at Real Madrid and that´s very important for us. I’m very glad because he will sign his renewal. He has to retire here as I did in the past”, Zidane said about Cristiano.

Today Real Madrid supporters should be happy because a very important key player as Luka Modric has return to the fields: “I’m very happy for him. He had no discomfort in today’s match. If he is not in the field, we don’t have the same control. I think he didn’t miss any pass today. These are good news for Real Madrid supporters”, Zidane affirmed about Moodric return.

Real Madrid will be in the top of the table for the match they will face against Atlético after the national team break: “This does not change anything. It’s good to keep the distance with our opponents, but it does not mean anything. Now almost all the players are leaving to play with their national teams and hopefully there are no surprises”.
