Zinedine Zidane spoke in press conference after the great comeback Real Madrid did against Deportivo de la Coruña at Santiago Bernabéu. The French manager achieved Beenhakker record with games unbeaten with Real Madrid with 35 games in a row without any defeat. Zidane highlighted his captain soul, the errors in the defense and the difficulty of the match.
Real Madrid had a very difficult match against Deportivo because they made many errors in the defense. Deportivo de la Coruña scored two goals in just 5 minutes with two defense mistakes: “We did some mistakes in the match, and when yo make mistakes the opponent can take advantage of them. The only important thing is to react, and we did it. It’s very nice to win a game in the last minutes. When you are losing the match yo have to believe, the good thing is that we always believes until the end”, Zidane explained about the mistakes in the defense.
Zidane congratulated Deportivo with the match they played at Santiago Bernabéu: “We have to congratulate the opponent, they played a good match but finally we could achieved the three points. I’m very glad with the performance of my players, although we did some mistakes”, Zidane said about Deportivo Coruña.
Sergio Ramos appeared once again in the last minutes, and he gave a new victory for Los Blancos: ” We know he can gives us goals in the last minutes. Sergio is special, because it’s not the first time he scores a goal in the injury time. He is our captain and the soul of this team.
Real Madrid don’t defeat a match since 35 games ago and Zidane could achieve a new record as a trainer:” One day we will lose, but the most important thing is that we have players that work a lot. It’s a huge amount of matches without any defeat (35) and we must continue”, Zidane said about his new record with Real Madrid
