The Spanish newspapers are heavily criticizing Zinedine Zidane after El Clásico. A lot of Real Madrid supporters were also very angry with some decisions took by the coach. The French boss has still the support of Florentino Pérez and the supporters, but Los Blancos need to win La Liga to continue with the credit.
The main error in El Clásico was including Gareth Bale in the line-up. We all thought that the Welshman would have started on the bench, after missing the last two games with an injury in his ankle. Generally, the manager doesn’t want to risk with the players with some physical problems but he broke this rule in El Clásico. It was a mistake.
After the game, Zidane said he wouldn’t change anything of the game, but he lost a change in the first half. Besides, the former Tottenham player will be out of the pitches for the last weeks, losing an important piece of the squad. Isco, Lucas Vázquez or Marco Asensio were ready to replace him.
Actually, Asensio showed in the game that he was ready to play it from the beginning. The Spaniard showed great personality during the game and he was one of the best players of Real Madrid. The manager punished again Isco, who didn’t play a minute in another important game.
Zidane was also right in other changes. For instance, he substituted Benzema and James Rodríguez came in. The Colombian playmaker looked out of the team, but he played really well and he was able to score the second goal of the team. Then, perhaps Zidane should have told his players to control the game and think about the positive result. However, the team lost the head and the tried to score the third net, allowing a counter attack in the very last minute.
There are still six games to go in La Liga and Real Madrid will win the title if they win 5 and draw one game. Therefore, the squad should be calm and continue with their idea, but there are some mistakes that need to be corrected.
we dont’t want zidane as manager because he is lacking some things ,he need to have more experience in coaching role. So we want Mourinho back or Pochettino as manager.
we want a strong squad, we want new players to replace some players like C.Ronaldo, Benzema, modric,Navas…
Comment:should I call it a mistake or what? Zedan sow the weekness of bezema in the team and continue to allow him in the game. Real Madrid have so many pontencial players that were ready to play but yet still he refused to allow them to play in the el-clascico. That is not a mistake.
And the Goal Keeper is a shame to us
Comment: madrid current squad needs to be overhauled urgently. The attackers larck intelligence and plan for a codinated and smart attack. There is no wisdom in defense at all. that makes madrid the easiest club to score. No sense of massive defense to maintain a leed against any big club. barcelona always look at real as a work over. zidane should appologise for always frustrating morata and Isco out of real.
I believe in Zidane as coach, but we must get new players in. We need players like Kante, Philippe Coutinho, Bonucci, Aubameyang, David de Gea. Players that must leave is Bale, James, Benzema, Navas, Coentrão.
I don’t know why Zidane is still playing Benzima?yet we have Marata and Isco. Why frustraste them yet they play better than his Benzima?
